It is available to use this year, however we need to liaise with Shipley Juniors regarding alternate weeks. Minutes of previous meeting accepted, proposed Gary Horton, and seconded Peter Marriott.
MATTERS ARISING: We are over paying for school pitches due to the league dictating the dates/times we have to play matches, up to xmas the bill for school pitches is £420. Bonfire Committee sent a thank you via the newsletter for all the help from EJFC.
Andrew Ormondroyd will do a reconciliation of subs still outstanding, the matter was raised – should managers have to chase for subs at this late stage or is a more formal approach needed i.e. a letter from the club. It was agreed this should be raised at the AGM
Child protection, the question was asked if the treasurer and club secretary need child protection registration, Lynda to e-mail Caroline Lovett. New Lock needed for School Hut, John McEvoy to source. With funds raised from Sponsored walk/Bonfire Night it was agreed new equipment should be purchased (see equipment notes). Also discussed if a more “uniformed” approach should be adopted, same style kit and jackets with EJFC on the back. Under 7’s have collected £392.00 in subs so far, however Bingley have provided the facilities, Peter Jennings suggested a ¼ of subs should be reimbursed as a goodwill gesture.
