FEBRUARY 2008 COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES

PRESENT

John McEvoy (Chairman), Nigel Wood, David Slater (Club Secretary), Gary Horton, Martin Cobley, Kehinde Jolaoso, Andrew Ormondroyd (Treasurer), Peter Marriott, Dale Waterhouse,  David Grainger, Martin Sharp, Christian Kent, Ian Heaven.

Apologies: Roy Housley, Martin Rogers, Colin Crooke, Pav Singh.

Minute’s of previous meeting approved: David Grainger, seconded: Gary Horton.

CRB OFFICER

There are 4 outstanding CRB submissions, 2 due within next few months.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

To date there are approximately 20 children signed on to the Saturday morning training sessions,  there is the possibility of two parents becoming involved in some capacity, training schedule sorted for February.

SECRETARYS’S REPORT

Not much to report during the month,  invite received for a football camp at a Butlins site, passed around & left with managers.

TREASURERS REPORT

Still a number of subscriptions outstanding at this late stage of the season, team coaches to prompt parents to pay over the next month., balance in accounts is healthy.

ELDWICK REC

No further update available at the present time, still contacting Bradford Council on a weekly basis for updates without replies, hoping that a Council/County representative will come to next monthly meeting.

PITCHES

Small 7 a side pitches are in good condition, larger pitch has dangerous pothole in goalmouth, continued to use Crossflatts pitch this season.

MANAGERS REPORTS

Under 8s - two games played, both being losses, but some good football being played.

Under 9s - two games played with both being losses, but some good improvements being made.

Under 10’s - only one game played resulting in a loss, struggling for players this season.

Under 11’s - four games played, lost three (1 in cup) & a win (6-2)

Under 12’s Eagles - no games played.

Under 12’s Falcons - two games played loosing both games, continued improvement.

Under 13’s - three games played, two wins in league, 1 cup win (6-2) through to semi finals

Under 14’s - two games played, one win & one loss

Under 15’s - two games played, one win & one loss

Under 16’s - not available

Received £150.00 cheque from gala committee, portable goals for Saturday training sessions to be purchased (currently out of stock).
