Gala Day 30th June 2007

This years gala day proved to be one of the wettest on record. Even Kehindes usual mantra about good weather couldn't save us this time. However it was still a good day and we made a few quid !

This year we got most of the managers up to the rec in the morning and this certainly helped to get the tent up in double quick time. Also the club would like to express our thanks to Bingley Grammar who once again loaned us the marquee for the day.

This year we decided to drop the usual 'knock the players over' stall in favour of a footie inflatable which proved to be a great hit with constant queues from the time we started right through to the end of the afternoon.

The tea tent once again did a brisk trade and the coconut shy was also kept busy.

Finally a huge thank you to all of you who kindly cakes and buns for the club to sell, it was much appreciated.
