PRESENT: Martin Rogers (Chair), Peter Jennings (Secretary), Susan Tomes, (Treasurer), Richard Tomes U15, Robert Holden , Joanne Rogers, Peter Marriott U11, John Mcevoy U8, Andy Smiddy U8, Martin Cobley U8. Roy Hausley U6 MATTERS ARISING: Apologies - None, Minutes of previous meeting accepted, proposed Peter M, seconded Joanna. CORRESPONDENCE: Affiliation form for WRCFA 04/05 received, filled in and returned with cheque for £14.40, U12’s Junior Shield Cup competition 04/05 entered at cost of £15.00, Craven Aire & Wharfe AGM 03/04 mins received, copied and distributed to team managers . Craven Aire & Wharfe team renewal forms for 04/05 filled in and returned. Keybury League renewal forms for 04/05 filled in and returned. Various sports catalogues received and distributed. LEAGUE MEETINGS. Craven Aire & Wharfe AGM Wed 2 June at Keighley Ruby Union Club 7.30pm, Also Keybury League AGM 28 June at Keighley Cricket Club 7pm - John M to attened. CHILD PROTECTION. No info at present. FOOTBALL COURSES. Present courses all full, new ones out in September SCHOOL PITCHES. Martin R suggested that the club meet with the school Governors re- letting of pitches, PJ to write and arrange, proposed Joanna, seconded Peter M. Managers were asked to use the Rec and Cottingley Bar over summer for friendlies and training. School would like to borrow our knock down footballers for their gala on 10 July. FUN DAY. Trophies - John M U8s wants 9, Andy S U8s wants 9, Martin C U9s wants 11, Peter M U11s wants 16 + one special memento for Bryony which he will arrange, Tony T U11 (7 a side) needs 10, Roy U6s will get small medals with no date on so any left can be used next year, U15s and U10s to confirm to Martin R A.S.A.P. Raffle tickets will be handed out to all managers shortly - Joanna. Fun day matches - u6s v u7s (mixed 5 or 7 a side), u8s v u9s, u10s v Tony’s u11, U11s v U12s, U15’s v Adults ( to be played during a break in the middle of the tournament. Ice cream van confirmed - PJ, all mini goals to be collected and delivered to Rec - Richard .M. Tournament Start 12.30pm - 1pm kick off, need to mark out 4 mini pitches in the morning. WEB SITE. John to put EJFC AGM date on site , also new golf day details. MANAGERS COMMENTS: U11s (11 a side), Lost in cup final to Bolton Woods 2-0, League runners up, presentation night at Beckfoot on Wed for parents and kids. U8s A & B. John M needs 4 x size 4 footballs and 1 size 4 match ball, wiil keep same kit next year. Andy S will change footballs with Martin Rogers, size 3 footballs available from Martin R. U6s Roy needs kit for fun day and for any tournaments, will team managers bring any spare kit to Martin R for re-distribution. GALA DAY. Tea tent still not yet confirmed - Joanna to chase, list of jobs to do and items to organise discussed and will be distributed with mins. Proposed that the club buy another tea Urn - seconded John M - all in favour, proposed 9am start for erection of tea tent and various stalls, Peter M stated that his daughter would like to run a stall for younger children - to liase with Joanna. AGM. Date for EJFC AGM set for Sunday 11 July 7.30pm in memorial hall, all club members welcome. |
