MANAGERS COMMENTS:

U14’S                                       In 2nd round of county cup away to Wetherby, Goalkeeper has left team, always seem to be nearly there all trying hard.

U13’S                                      Top of league until we played Bingley and lost, however still capable of winning league.

U12’S                                       Played 3 games, won 2, lost 1, all tight games. All players looking forward to cup games.

U11A’s                                     Played good teams during preliminary rounds and only just lost to them, we will be in lower division. Got a bye into 1st round of cup.

U11’ Eagles                             Up & down at the moment, if we can keep squad together all will be well for 11-a-side next year.

U10’ Eagles                             Players enjoying the game, lost against Bingley. Players clicking into to place.

U10’ Falcons                           Played 6, won 3, drawn 2, lost 1 very happy so far.

U9’S                                          All is going well and playing well, we are 2nd in league.

U8’S                                           Played 4, 2 postponed, struggling for a goalkeeper.

U7’S                                           Only played one game, friendly played this week. 4th in league.

SOCIAL EVENTS:                     Maybe Xmas Golf Competition, Race night to discuss at next meeting.

GRANTS AVAILABLE:              Awaiting Information.

FUNDRAISING:                       Bonfire Events-  Raffle- tickets distributed and donations     requested.  Christian has organised BBQ just outside Memorial Hall. Amount raised from both will be available next meeting.

John McEvoy has wrote to Co-Op and asked for sponsorship, they only meet 3 times a year, so time will tell.

A.O.B.                                      Bonfire Committee has asked for volunteers to build bonfire, steward and clear up next day.

Christian played Vision Academy and had problems with manager over aggressive coaching near goal area.

Problems have arisen regarding the Cottingley Bar pitches we use as a “fall back”, Shipley have enhanced the site and seem to have taken ownership, the council were under the impression EJFC no longer use it. It seems we have been paying the 7-a-side usage rate, it will increase to £220.00 per season for 11-a-side. J McEvoy to send a copy of our formal agreement to the council.

NEXT MEETING: MONDAY  5th DECEMBER 7.15PM THE BIRCHES
