CLUB WEB SITE

All teams now have pages available to them to use as they wish.

ELDWICK PRIMARY SCHOOL PITCHES

School not moving on cost of £60 per “session”. New rules have now been introduced, including the need for EJFC teams to “sign in and out” on a Sunday morning.

If no games are played on a particular week then managers need to let JMc know and he’ll contact the school.

7-a-side goals – Need to source a new set of goals to replace the ones that have gone missing.

UPDATE at time of writing up the minutes - JMc advises missing goals seem to have “reappeared” so there are now 2 full sets. No requirement for new goals to be purchased.

Tues 7-8pm U11 (11-a-side); U12; U13

BONFIRE NIGHT (Sat 5th Nov)

Birches invited EJFC to take a more active role in the organising and running of the event esp. Food; with a view to raising significantly more funds. It was agreed as a good idea and details need to be progressed in time for next meeting.

 FUND RAISING.

Agreed that ideas need to keep flowing throughout the year.  Hope to be able to repeat a sponsored walk again in summer 2006 and consider it as an annual event.

May want to consider corporate sponsorship of the whole club

A “racing” night will be investigated.  This could run in the memorial hall.

SOCIAL EVENTS

Managers/officials night out arranged for October 7th. 8pm meet in the Star pub to be confirmed.

Future golf day to be considered.

A.O.B.

·         T & A Photo-shoot on Eldwick Rec on Tuesday 13th Sept 6pm for all teams.

·         Secretaries post still needs to be filled. Peter Jennings has agreed to continue in the short term until someone else can be found.  It was suggested that it would be best for it to be someone who is NOT a team manager.

NEXT MEETING. 3rd OCT 2005 at the Birches 7.15pm
