I am very sorry to
have to report that despite the best efforts of all associated with the
club we have had to withdraw the Under 7's from the league and cease their
training.
The lack of a Manager to run them makes it impossible to continue their involvement with the club. This is not a decision that we have taken lightly and indeed we waited until the very last moment before taking this course of action. For those who don't know, the club is run purely by unpaid volunteers and all linked to the club have their sons and daughters playing for the teams. Traditionally a parent of one of the players comes forward to take over the running of the team but as already mentioned, in the case of this years Under 7's this didn't happen. It is simply not possible for current managers to take on the running of another team so sadly this is the position we find ourselves in. John McEvoy - Eldwick Juniors Chairman |
